Privacy Policy

Wednesdai · Last updated October 10, 2026

The short version. Wednesdai is an AI planning assistant and platform. We collect the information you give us about your event so we can plan it — and we contact venues and vendors on your behalf only at your direction. We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we use no analytics or advertising cookies. Questions or requests: privacy@wednesd.ai.

1. Who we are

WednesdAI is a product of Tyr Labs LLC, a Maryland limited liability company ("Tyr Labs," "we," "us"). Wednesdai (also written "WednesdAI") is offered at wednesd.ai and app.wednesd.ai. For anything in this policy, contact privacy@wednesd.ai.

2. Who this policy covers

Wednesdai is directed to customers in the United States. This policy covers:

3. Information we collect

From customers

Sensitive information

Some planning details are sensitive, and we treat them that way. If you choose to share them, we collect your religious or cultural tradition (only to find professionals able to perform or honor your ceremony and traditions, and — at your direction — to brief them), dietary restrictions or allergies (only to plan your event and, at your direction, inform the businesses handling your food and drink), and your precise home location (only for travel estimates and recommendations near you). We use this information solely to provide the service, never for advertising, and we do not sell it. You may decline to provide it — the related features simply won't activate.

From guests

If a customer asks us to, we send you their invitation or RSVP link by email. A customer may also send you the link from their own phone. We text you only if you sign up for text updates yourself on the event's RSVP page. When you RSVP, we collect your name, your reply, and the contact detail you provide (email or phone). A customer may also add information about you (such as your contact details) to their guest list. This information is used only to plan that customer's event and is visible to that customer. If you'd like it corrected or removed, contact the customer or privacy@wednesd.ai.

From venues and vendors

We process business contact details (obtained from publicly available sources), quotes, availability, and correspondence, including information supplied during a call, so we can plan on customers' behalf. A business phone number and a reference sent with an inquiry may help route an inbound call. We do not use caller ID or a reference alone to disclose a customer's private information.

Automatically

Standard service logs (such as timestamps, provider message/call identifiers, delivery status, and the addresses messages are sent to) are kept briefly for reliability, security, compliance, and debugging. Push-notification providers receive a device delivery token and the privacy-safe notification content. We use no analytics SDKs and no advertising trackers.

4. How we use information

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:

CategoryPurpose
Cloud infrastructure providers (United States)Hosting, storage, and operating the service
AI service providersProcessing planning details and correspondence at our direction to provide the service
Google Maps Platform (Places)Business listings, photos, and location data — Google's privacy policy applies to this use
Communications and push-notification providersDelivering and securing the emails, text messages, calls, verification codes, voicemail, and notifications described in this policy. Customers are U.S.-based during beta; a customer's instruction may require contacting a venue or vendor abroad only where that channel is enabled.
Stripe (payment processor)Payment processing when paid plans are enabled — your card details go to Stripe directly

Each provider processes personal information only on our instructions and for the purposes above. A current list of our service providers is available on request at privacy@wednesd.ai.

Text messaging. Guests can sign up for Wednesdai event text updates by checking the optional box on an event's RSVP page (see our Terms). Message frequency varies by event. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, or STOP at any time to stop further texts. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Calls and voicemail. Wednesdai identifies itself as an AI assistant when it calls or answers. You can remove a verified voice number or disable scheduled calls at any time. Detailed Catch Me Up voicemail is off by default. If you separately enable it for a verified number, you choose the permitted categories and understand that anyone with access to that phone's voicemail may hear those selected details. We never include authentication codes, payment details, guest contact lists, sensitive religious/cultural or health/dietary details, precise home address, full contracts, or private message transcripts in a detailed voicemail. Turning detailed voicemail off revokes permission for later retrieval of its protected audio.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use only what's strictly necessary: your sign-in session is kept in your browser's local storage. If you choose to start payment, our payments provider, Stripe, may set its own cookies strictly for payment security and fraud prevention when its hosted checkout opens. We set no advertising or analytics cookies, so we don't show a cookie banner.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active, since an event plan is a long-running project. To delete your account and data, email privacy@wednesd.ai — we will confirm completion within 30 days. Service logs are retained on our cloud provider's standard schedule (typically 30 days) and then deleted. Some records may be retained where the law requires it (for example, billing records).

8. Security

Your data is hosted in the United States with a major cloud provider, encrypted in transit and at rest, with access limited to what the service needs. During our preview period, access to the app itself is limited to invited users. No service can promise perfect security, but we design for least access and we don't hold data we don't need (like card numbers).

9. Your privacy rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and we honor those requests. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front, and we never discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

If you live in a U.S. state with a privacy law (including California, Maryland, Virginia, Colorado, and Connecticut), these rights are yours by statute; you may also use an authorized agent, and if we decline a request you may appeal by replying to our decision — we'll respond to appeals within the timeframe your state requires. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we honor the equivalent GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection); our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, your consent (for sensitive details like religious tradition and dietary needs, which you may withdraw anytime), our legitimate interest in operating the service securely, and compliance with legal obligations. Data is processed in the United States; where we move data across borders we rely on our providers' standard contractual safeguards. You can lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, though we'd appreciate the chance to help first.

To exercise any right, email privacy@wednesd.ai from the address on your account (or with enough detail for us to verify you). We respond within 30 days (45 where state law allows and we need the extra time — we'll tell you if so).

10. Children

Wednesdai is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Customers may list minors (such as child guests) on their guest lists; that information belongs to the customer's planning and is their responsibility to keep accurate.

11. Visitors from outside the United States

Wednesdai is operated from, and hosted in, the United States and is directed to U.S. residents. When a customer plans an event abroad, we contact venues and vendors abroad (including in the EU) on the customer's behalf; we process those businesses' contact details and correspondence to fulfill the customer's request, and honor their rights as described above.

12. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update this page and note the new date at the top; for significant changes we'll also tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
